Development Update at College Crescent – 31/07/15

TSG have re-erected the rear scaffolding having completed the foundations and have started to rebuild the rear extension.  All the steels are now in place and we anticipate the extension will be completed over the next two to three weeks.  The damp proofing to the basement has been completed and work has also progressed on the upper floors, with the partition walls being built for the studio flats and the venting system fitted in the roof spaces.

A full electrical plan for each floor was completed last week and the electricians are now on site carrying out the first fix.  It was decided to install pocket glass sliding doors in the studios to save on space and made to measure water tanks in the roof space.

Three of the studio flats will have specially designed wall sofa/beds fitted and to allow for this piece of furniture we have had to strengthen one wall.

A site meeting has been arranged for the 10th August with TSG and Balneaves Chadwick (Architects), to discuss the overall progress.
