Development Update at College Crescent – 08/10/15

Stainless steel mesh has been fitted over the block and brickwork to the chimney breast areas, to prevent any cracking through the rendering.  Walls have been chased for the electrics and metal resilient bars have been fitted across the ceiling to the third floor studios, to straighten the ceilings.

The rendering to the rear of the property has been completed, including the window reveals and window heads.

On the ground floor, the under stairs has been battened & plaster boarded, with double plaster board applied to the small dwarf wall to the back of the staircase cupboard.  The cylinder cupboard in the wardrobe to the ground floor bedroom has also been plaster boarded & plastered.

The air exchange units to all floors had to be removed, to allow for the walls to be fire lined above and around the now re-fitted units.
