Development Update College Crescent – 14/03/16

The external steps and porch have now been rebuilt and the new balcony and railings will be fitted this week. New electrical circuit boards have been installed in the external under stairs cupboard. The mouldings to the porch and front elevation are in the process of being installed which will allow us to complete the rendering at the beginning of April.

We are also arranging for further estimates to complete the front area, which has been redesigned to allow for parking, bicycle storage and waste collection.

In the studio flats, made to measure cupboards are being built and coloured glass splash backs are being fitted to the kitchens. Also the sofa/beds have now been delivered to each of the studio flats.  The wooden floor has been laid in the laundry room and the coin operated washing /drying machines are in place.

Unfortunately, the Network Power survey which was completed last year was incorrect and as a consequence, we have been advised that the pavement fronting the property will have to be excavated, to allow for the new mains electricity cable to be installed.  This will result in at least a 4/6 week delay before we are able to arrange for the new meters to be installed for the studios and flats.
